      One can easily realize this if one reads his writings, especially a book published by the Madras Government Museum titled The Foote Collection of Indian Prehistoric and Protohistoric Antiquities. the prehistoric and protohistoric archreology of the country may be placed before them. And the present note is the outcome, covering the decade Before, however, getting down to the resume itself, it would perhaps be worth while to let the readers know something about the organization of archreological activities in India.

      You can't learn everything about prehistoric art from one book, you'll have to use several, but I love this little book and it's perfect for taking along in my purse when I travel.
